Colosseum Sports brings the world’s fastest growing combat sport to St Ives, with the third edition of their Conflito final série. Following rave reviews for CSMMA 2 in April, the promotion will be turning it up a notch for their latest event, set to go down on May 25ºat the One Leisure Centre.
Headlining the card is a mouth-watering clash of UK MMA mainstays Denniston ‘Mad Max’ Sutherland e Valentino ‘Battista’ Petrescu. Sutherland embodies the ‘anyone, anytime, anywhere’ mentality, having competed against 260lb UFC veteran Neil Grove despite being a natural middleweight. A crowd pleaser at heart, Sutherland has none the less compiled an impressive 16-8 record against some of the UK’s best and brightest, and holds notable wins over UK MMA legend Mark Weir and middleweight stand out John Phillips.
