Colosseum Sports brings the world’s fastest growing combat sport to St Ives, with the third edition of their Ultimate Conflict series. Following rave reviews for CSMMA 2 in April, the promotion will be turning it up a notch for their latest event, set to go down on May 25that the One Leisure Centre.
Headlining the card is a mouth-watering clash of UK MMA mainstays Denniston ‘Mad Max’ Sutherland na Valentino ‘Battista’ Petrescu. Sutherland embodies the ‘anyone, anytime, anywhere’ mentality, having competed against 260lb UFC veteran Neil Grove despite being a natural middleweight. A crowd pleaser at heart, Sutherland has none the less compiled an impressive 16-8 record against some of the UK’s best and brightest, and holds notable wins over UK MMA legend Mark Weir and middleweight stand out John Phillips.
