The Promoter of the show Mr. Stanley Nandex under the Headhunter KO Promotions was impressed with the outcome despite other international fighters who could not make it for the fight due to VISA and OTHER personal reasons.
Despite the difficult circumstances faced at the last minute with 5 fighters couldn’t make it, only 2 International fighters were brave enough to take on PNG Team for the title fights. The title belts were awarded to Jeffery Daka, Lee Henry Garap and Rickson Yamo .
Jonathan Tuhu took the WKF MuayThai light-middle weight title up against the Malaysian most decorated fighter Chee Jian Kai. The fight went distance as the main event of the show. Jonathan was very strong with skills and was able to keep the fight under control until the final round of the fight winning the title.
During the presentation Lee ‘The Flash’ Garap who also won the WKF International welter weight title, Jeffrey Daka WKF Continental Middleweight Title. In the other international contest, Mr. Solomon Taimani of Team PNG who lost to his Pakistani-PNG opponent Mr. Karkar Ezetullah for the Intercontinental WKF Cruiserweight Title.

He also thanked the sponsors, NCDC, PNG Tourism Promotion Authority, Post Courier, PNG Sports Foundation, Department of Treasury, Hela Provincial Government and office of the Vice Minister for Sports Hon. Wesley Raminae for the support in hosting such high profile events in the country.

But where sports can penetrate to be first support at site in times support and community assistance.
In the past several peoples received funny and harassing E-mails or strange postings in social medias from our former member Mr. Robert W. in Perth.
Without our permission he is still using our WKF contacts to pretend to be still member in WKF AUSTRALIA. He is posting this black fake logos and pretend to be still part of real WKF.
He is a convicted scammer and braggart, only exists on the internet! He just wants your hard earned money 🙂
We recommend not answering at all and blocking it.
In the meantime, we have filed a lawsuit in Sydney with the court to end this nonsense once and for all. Anyone who visits and reads our website www.wkfworld.com will find posters of more than 1.100 events World wide in the galleryin the past 35 years.
The very experienced and olderChris “the Sniper” JOHNSON original from New Zealand, challenged the much younger Matt STAPLEFORD.
After a tough battle in the ring, Stapleford was able to assert himself unexpectedly and was ahead of points in all rounds. A good body hit by Australian Matt in the third round ended the good fight of two big champions.
New confirmed world Champion Stapleford received the belt from the Australian continental director Rustam ATTAI and guest of honor WKF world president Fritz EXENBERGER.
Immediately after the fight, a title defense was agreed for Mat in Europe. Because of COVID-19, the title fight will take place in spring 2021. Austrian Florian BARTL is under negotiation as a possible opponent.
After COVID-19 situation we will have next great show in Papua New Guinea promoter and former World Champion Mr. Stanley NANDEX.
Local female International Champion Jessy GONOPA fight for the Intercontinental Title vs. four times European Champion Alexandra “GODZILLA” PETRE(ゴジラ)

WKF PNG president Stanley NANDEX moving forward with new promoters and former serious Champions.
On behalf of the PNG Kickboxing Federation, am here to officially announce that the 27th National Kickboxing Championships is set for the 23rd – 25th April 2021.

The main aim is to select and prepare a good strong team for the world Championships in Cairo.
Please find some of the work we are engaging with the development of youths in Papua new Guinea. This particular province in PNG is Hela province known as volatile, Violence and tribal warfare etc.
This is the province where the country’s resources comes from the Natural Gas so landowner issues has been a major concern.
My aim is to use the sport as an idea setting for the development of youths and raise sports leaders so they can contribute through intervention programs with other stakeholders to manage such ongoing issues.
Am having more talks with other provinces in PNG as well to use the same concept as a good platform.
