WKF licensed female referees and officials
WKF HEAD OFFICE work very hard in cooperation with our IRC- “International rules committee” to train our international officials and referees, to answer protests and requests for the competition rules and to develop our various WKF rules.
Our last World referee seminar´s 2023 in Skofije, Slovenia, 2024 in Alicante, Spain and 2025 in Chisinau, Moldova, appointed several new TOP female WKF referees with international licenses.
Today we again have
14 female officials worldwide
only with an international WKF referee license.
As the world know – our next World referee seminar will be held in Cartagena, Colombia, Sunday just before the WKF World Championships 2026
The next but one World referee seminar will be held in in November 2027, the weekend just before the following
Without valid WKF license you are not an official in our World Kickboxing Federation!
Today WKF has more than 140 international licensed referees on 6 continents.
Of these, unfortunately, we only have just
fourteen international licensed female officials
Like all knowledge, World wide more and more strong female champions and athletes are fighting, on tatami and Ring!
Our WKF executive board therefore emphatically requests all our
to send more female referees to Cartagen in Colombia to the next World referee seminar in November 2026, in our main Hotel.

On September 20, 2025, one of the largest international WKF tournaments will once again be held at the Guggenberger Sports Hall in Austria
The WKF disciplines for male and females will be K-1 and amateur BOXING. Official WKF age and weight classes will apply. You can find the announcement here , registration for your team is just per mail possible
More than 250 (!) downloads in first two weeks on the WKF EUROPE website demonstrate the great interest in the 2025 Austrian Open.
The weight check, WKF license, and medical check will only be conducted on Friday, September 19th , in the sport hall from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Video weigh-ins are not permitted in the WKF.
NO WEIGH-INS ARE POSSIBLE on Saturday, September 20
This event is open for cadets 15- 18 Years, women and men
of all federations, countries and teams!

El pasado domingo primero de junio marcamos el inicio del primer campamento oficial del 2025 del World Kickboxing Federation Costa Rica, un paso firme hacia el desarrollo de nuevos talentos que formarán parte de nuestros proyectos rumbo al 2026.
En un ambiente lleno de disciplina, enfoque y pasión, evaluamos el potencial de los atletas presentes, dando inicio a una nueva etapa de preparación nacional.Agradecemos al gimnasio de Parque La Libertad en San José por cedernos sus espacios y respaldar esta iniciativa. También extendemos nuestro reconocimiento a las academias afiliadas a la WKF y a los entrenadores que formaron parte activa de esta capacitación.
Esto es solo el comienzo. ¡Vienen muchas más sorpresas por parte del World Kickboxing Federation Costa Rica!

Gran jornada se vivió este pasado 9 de MARZO en GRANADA, NICARAGUA en celebración al día internacional de la mujer (8 De marzo)
Gracias a Dios primeramente y a todas las academias que participaron se realizaron 33 combates masculinos y 2 combates femeninos

Argentina se prepara para el Panamericano

Argentina prepara un fuerte equipo para participar del campeonato panamericano a realizarse en Colombia del 12 al 15 de noviembre próximo.
Cada fin de semana muchos de los competidores de la selección se preparan en diferentes eventos para poder dar el máximo en la competencia más exigente de América.
Según el director de Argentina Carlos Suarez ya hay confirmada una importante delegación de competidores que participaran y se esperan más ya que la inscripción inicia en setiembre.

The next World Cup will be held after the summer break from September 15-21 in Minsk, Belarus.
Eastern Europe will be represented by major teams.
EU citizens do NOT require a visa if they stay in Belarus for less than 30 days !

Since the last European congress in Moldova in June 2025, he was new elected WKF EUROPE continental President
He is General Director of the Republican Olympic Center and “Stayki”.
Initial information about the next World Championships in November 2026 in Cartagena, Colombia, will also follow very soon.
Our Amateur World President Mr. Carlos SUAREZ from Buenos Aires, Argentina, will be official WKF observer. He will attend the WKF Board meeting in Minsk, where high-ranking WKF representatives from Europe, Africa and Asia are expected. Many new, exciting events are in the works.
AND: the last WKF World Cup this Year will be from November 13-15 in the city of Bucaramanga, Colombia!
WKF HUNGARY with new president
Effective immediately, we have a new President of the WKF Hungary
Mr. Daniel Z. Hirlau has been a successful WKF manager for several years and has done an outstanding job as World President of the Boxing Division in a very short time.
Our intention was to assist and relieve the previous Hungarian President, Mr. Istvan Rozman, of his excessive responsibilities. He will continue his work as World President of the WKF Professional Division and in the IRC.

PRO-Women’s World Champion title in Perm, Russia
A historic fight between two strong women will take place on August 16th.
Europe’s best K-1 female kickboxer today, Daria KUVAKINA of the Ural Kali fighter Team, is currently ranked fourth in the WKF PRO world rankings.
With five undefeated fights, she enjoys an impeccable reputation.
For the first time ever, a female PRO title fight in WKF RUSSIA between two continents!
As is customary in the WKF fake titles are not allowed.
Her opponent is a Latin American from Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay. Marilyn CONTIN, competing for the famous Bears team and WKF URUGUAY, is a super athlete with incredible strength.
She comes to Perm as the current strongest Latin American featherweight champion (58.2 kg).
Marilyn, ranked sixth in the WKF world rankings, is coming to Perm and wants to use this great opportunity to bring the world championship belt back to Montevideo.
Igor BAYBARA from WKF Bulgaria was approved as neutral chief referee and supervisor.

Austrian Championship 2026 in Vienna

As is already known, the WKF Austrian Championships will now take place on 10./11. April held in Vienna.
More than 600 down loads (!) already show the great interest in the last qualification for the amazing World Championships in Colombia.

In semi-contact or point fighting Austrians were able to place themselves TOP at the last World Championships in Alicante.
WKF AUSTRIA have currently special training centers in Innsbruck, Wels and Vienna.
Austrians new national MMA coach will also announce his national team 2026 for Colombia there!
This event is the last chance for all Austrian champions to qualify for the World Championship! This applies accordingly to all tatami and ring sports, Boxing and of course forms / Kata and MMA.
