My name is Alexandr VARVARENCO, and I am the President of WKF USA.
I am a highly experienced kickboxing coach and sports professional with a higher education in Physical Culture and Sports, specializing as a trainer-teacher.

I was born and trained in Tiraspol, Moldova, at the Boeс Sports Club. During my competitive career, I became a champion of Transnistria and Moldova, a medalist in international tournaments.

Silver medalist of the WAKO World Cup, and professional champion of Ukraine under WKA.

During 9 years of coaching in Transnistria, I continued to represent Boeс Sports Club, was appointed head coach, and trained athletes who became national and international champions, including a European champion and silver medalists of the World Cup and European Championships. For my contribution to sports, I was awarded the “Excellence in Physical Culture and Sports” distinction and recognized as Best Coach of 2020.

After moving to the USA, I founded GOLDEN EAGLE FIGHTING CLUB in West Sacramento, California, where over 2 years my students achieved:
• Multiple 1st places in California (IKF)
• 1st places at the USA Championship (WKA)
• Silver medals at the USA Championship (ISKA)

As President of WKF USA, I am committed to developing kickboxing in the United States, organizing high-level competitions, and nurturing the next generation of champions through professional training and athlete development.

Today 158 member countries on 6 continents are busy for the next season.

Spain was our host for the amazing last WKF World Championships 2024 in all disciplines. First time in co-operation with BOXING for male and females !

Mr. Juan PINILLA was the perfected head of the organizing team in November 18th to 22nd, 2024.

In 2025 WKF has promoted with all local partners our “continentals” , on six continents !

For example European Championships in June in Moldova and Pan American Championships in Bucaramanga, Colombia, or African Cup in autumn!

My sincere thanks go to our hard-working World President in the amateur division, Mr. Carlos SUAREZ in Buenos Aires, and also to all 6 Continental Directors and all Managers and Promoters.

Now the whole world will meet again in Cartagena, Colombia, 19th to 24th October 2026 and many strong teams from:

Africa, Asia,

Australia, Europe, 

Latin America

North America

will challenge our best Champions.

All our 158 + Worldwide WKF MEMBER countries are most welcome in Cartegena, Colombia!

Many long time national WKF associations have received new leadership and new strong WKF local associations from all over the World have NEWLY joined!

Many nations worldwide, disappointed by other small “so-called world federations” have rejoined our WKF.

Confirmed 2026 are WKF sanctioned World Cups in all 6 continents – in preparations for Cartagena.

 

Everyone wants to be there for the first World Championship in the Caribbean – as a fighter, coach, or official.

We expect 1.500 to 2.000 fighters from all over the World !!!

The next World Championships in 2028 are now confirmed, back in Europe! Romania’s capital City Bucharest is the venue, our host is WKF EUROPE Vice president Mr. Florin MINA.

This is the perfect weekend, just before the World Championships 2026 in Cartagena, Colombia 

 

For the second time our World referee seminar takes place in Latin America.

We got already many requests from our male / female referees and officials from 6 continents and we hope everybody who would need Visa for Colombia start in time at least 8 weeks before with Visa procedure.

This past weekend, the WKF European Kids Open took place in France, organized by the TAO CHIE DO club.

For this inaugural event, the competition brought together 75 competitors from 3 different countries, spread across 2 rings.

A total of 35 finals for girls and boys were contested in an excellent sporting and friendly atmosphere.

We also had the honor of welcoming the president of WKF Belgium, Fabrice DEBOIS, accompanied by representatives from several Belgian clubs.

For a first-time event, I think this Open went very well, and I would like to thank all the volunteers, coaches, referees, competitors, and the participating clubs for their involvement and support.

Next year, we will do it again with even more communication and publicity to attract more countries like Italy, Spain, and many others, to continue growing this international event.

The TAO CHIE DO Club in Berlaimont, club is well-known in the region for its commitment to combat sports and martial arts.

Ce week-end avait lieu l’Open Européen Kids en France, organisé par le club TAO CHIE DO.

Pour cette première édition, la compétition a réuni 75 compétiteurs venant de 3 pays différents, répartis sur 2 rings.

Au total, 35 finales filles et garçons ont été disputées dans une excellente ambiance sportive et conviviale.

Nous avons également eu l’honneur d’accueillir le président de la WKF Belgique, accompagné de plusieurs clubs belges.

Pour une première organisation, je trouve que cet Open s’est très bien déroulé et je tiens à remercier tous les bénévoles, coachs, arbitres, compétiteurs ainsi que les clubs présents pour leur participation et leur confiance.

L’année prochaine, nous remettrons cela avec encore plus de communication et de publicité afin de faire venir davantage de pays comme l’Italie, l’Espagne et bien d’autres pour continuer à faire grandir cet événement international.

Without valid WKF license – no exception – you are not an official in our World Kickboxing Federation!

 

African continental open Championships 2026

Which team, which country, which city, who is is the real best male and female fighter on the African continent ? This is the greatest event 2026 for all African countries.

From Egypt to South Africa, from Ethiopia to Senegal. All our 37 WKF AFRICA member countries must send their best amateur fighters male and female, to find out who have the real best team, the best male and female Champions !

As part of this year’s Summer Camp, which will take place in Kiato from July 23 to 26, the annual referee and judge seminar will be held under the auspices of the WKF World Kickboxing Federation.

Promoter WKF GREECE

The seminar will be presented by Mr. Vangelis MASTIS, International Referee and Judge, with significant experience and contribution to the field.

This initiative is part of the ongoing effort to develop, train and upgrade the level of referees and judges, enhancing the quality and credibility of the sport under the guidance of the WKF.

The best Greek international WKF referees will be nominated for the World Championship from October 19th to 24th in Colombia!

Στο πλαίσιο του φετινού Summer Camp, το οποίο θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο Κιάτο από τις 23 έως και τις 26 Ιουλίου, θα διεξαχθεί το ετήσιο σεμινάριο διαιτητών και κριτών υπό την αιγίδα της WKF World Kickboxing Federation.

Εισηγητής του σεμιναρίου θα είναι ο κ. Βαγγέλης Μαστής, International Referee and Judge B Class, με σημαντική εμπειρία και συμβολή στον χώρο.

Η πρωτοβουλία αυτή εντάσσεται στη διαρκή προσπάθεια για εξέλιξη, επιμόρφωση και αναβάθμιση του επιπέδου των διαιτητών και κριτών, ενισχύοντας την ποιότητα και την αξιοπιστία του αθλήματος υπό την καθοδήγηση της WKF.

Οι καλύτεροι Έλληνες διεθνείς διαιτητές της WKF θα προταθούν για το Παγκόσμιο Πρωτάθλημα που θα διεξαχθεί από τις 19 έως τις 24 Οκτωβρίου στην Κολομβία!

The next China World Grand Prix will be held in Nanning!

Top fighters from six continents will enter the ring for two nights, each night featuring an eight-man tournament! In addition to the Chinese champions, high-ranking guests from the political and business sectors will also attend this world-class event! Of course, it will be broadcast live on television.

The WKF North America Congress and the US Referee Seminar took place in Sacramento and Los Angeles from May 8th to 10th.

Representatives from several states, including Texas, were present to learn about the competition rules and updates for the upcoming World Championship.

As everyone knows, Cartagena, Colombia, will host the WKF World Championship from October 19th to 24th.

As expected, many teams from the participating states want to form a strong and large US national team and successfully represent themselves at the World Championship against the expected 2000 + strongest champions from around the world.

Ms. Olena GUSLYAKOVA has been confirmed as WKF USA Chief Referee. She will subsequently organize the next referee seminars.
