WKF HEAD OFFICE work very hard in cooperation with our IRC- “International rules committee”  to train our international officials and referees, to answer protests and requests for the competition rules and to develop our various WKF rules.

 

Our last World referee seminar´s 2023 in Skofije Slovenia, 2024 in Alicante Spain and 2025 in Chisinau, Moldova, appointed several new TOP female WKF referees with international licenses.

The last international referee seminar in 2025 in Minsk, Belarus, has brought three more highly qualified “Women in Black” to our team, and thus further strengthens our team.

Today we again have

19 female officials worldwide

only with an international WKF referee license.

 

As the world know – our next World referee seminar will be held in Cartagena, Colombia, Saturday and Sunday October 18th just before the WKF World Championships 2026

The next but one World referee seminar in Austria will be held on September 18th 2027, the weekend just before the following

 

European ChampionshipS 2027 

 

Without valid WKF license you are not an official , referee, and supervisor in our World Kickboxing Federation!

 

 

Today WKF has more than 150 international licensed referees on 6 continents.

African continental open Championships 2026

Which team, which country, which city, who is is the real best male and female fighter on the African continent ? This is the greatest event 2026 for all African countries.

From Egypt to South Africa, from Ethiopia to Senegal. All our 37 WKF AFRICA member countries must send their best amateur fighters male and female, to find out who have the real best team, the best male and female Champions !

The WKF ROMANIA, headed by Grandmaster and WKF EUROPE Vice president Florin MINA, has confirmed Bucharest as the host of the 2028 WKF Kickboxing World Championships.

Beforehand, the sole official Romanian federation will hold the final qualifying event for the upcoming WKF World Championships, taking place from October 19-24 in Cartagena, Colombia, on July 18, 2026.

 

At the last World Championship in November 2024 in Spain, the new BOXING championship belts were presented by the World Boxing President Mr. Daniel Z. HIRLAU. He was also nominated Chief Referee by the amazing European Championships 2026 in Moldova, June 22nd to 29th.

Presidents and managers from over 70 nations from six continents were very interested in our serious BOXING / BKFC World division and delighted.

Pierre HERRERA from Chile is the first official world champion in boxing, sanctioned by the WKF, since November 22, 2024

Five current champion belts were presented for viewing by the main office of our World Boxing Federation / BKFC.

From now on we can also confirm worldwide title fights for our best BOXERS and Bare Knuckle Champions – men and women – who would like to compete for real serious title fights in

Next WKF sanctioned title fights in BOXING is already being scheduled for autumn 2025!

Things continue with two planned events in Poland and Austria and for the first time with a new WKF GEORGIAN team, probably in Tbilisi, as well as a planned event in  Bulgaria and perhaps in Yerevan, Armenia.

Effective immediately, Dr. Alexander Nikolaevich FADEEV is Head of the medical commission, responsible as coordinator for WKF to WADA. Here is a brief introduction of the expert.

Dr. Alexander Nikolaevich FADEEV

I began my medical career in 2019, working in emergency medical services, where I handled complex cases, including critical care.

I have extensive experience in intensive care and resuscitation.

Since 2019, I have also been actively involved in post-traumatic and post-surgical rehabilitation for athletes across various disciplines, including Greco-Roman wrestling, freestyle wrestling, kickboxing, fencing, and boxing.

I am proficient in a range of athlete recovery techniques, including therapeutic massage, soft manual therapy, and joint mobilization.

I hold a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation. In February 2026, I founded my own medical center specializing in rehabilitation following injuries, strokes, and surgeries.

The center serves over 600 patients monthly and offers a comprehensive range of services, including physiotherapy, therapeutic nerve blocks, PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy, and joint injections and aspirations.

A significant portion of our work is dedicated to sports medicine and the recovery of athletes.

As always, all our world rankings are updated regularly.

Every WKF champion has 12 months to defend their title.

After 18 months – without a title defense – the title expires.

Only those listed in our world rankings and holding a valid WKF license can compete for the coveted WKF titles!
