From April 16 to 19, 2025, the First Championship and Championship of the Republic of Belarus in WKF Kickboxing was held at the Republican Olympic Training Center Stayki in the K-1, low kick, light contact and solo compositions sections. More than 400 athletes took part in the tournament.
It was a great rehearsal for the upcoming WKF Kickboxing World Cup, which will be held from September 15 to 21, 2025 in Minsk, at the Republican Olympic Training Center “Stayki”.
The referee corps from the world bureau of the World Kickboxing Federation WKF was presented and headed by Derkachenko Ivan Vasilievich – chief referee of the competition, WKF Supervisor for CIS states.

WKF 2024 Kickboxing World Champions Kazaku Maksim, Nechitailo Viktor, Savchenko Stanislav, Chernetsky Ivan and Myagkov Evgeny became the winners of the first WKF 2025 Kickboxing Championship of the Republic of Belarus.
The tournament was organized at a high level, the fights on the tatami and in the ring were highly competitive, the Best won. There were no official protests.
The injuries were local and mild – abrasions, nosebleeds.
No fractures or cuts were recorded!

At the last World Congress in Alicante, Spain, the last CIS Supervisor Roman LOGISCH from WKF GERMANY was unanimously elected WKF Secretary General by the 60 presidents present.
Ivan DERKACHENKO from Minsk, Belarus, was also unanimously elected as his successor by the Board.

Mr. Derkachenko is well-known and high respected as a manager and expert in our sport.
He will also be serving as a supervisor at the upcoming European Championships June 22nd to 29th in Chisinau, Moldova, and will therefore be the link between Eastern and Western Europe.
WKF head office would like to remind all our country presidents and World division directors to fix and to update on time WKF fighters license (sport book) for all participants for all international WKF Championships.

This applies to all WKF disciplines, the officials will monitor this closely.

All international teams are requested for, to present their valid WKF licenses by registration and weigh-in in Spain, Monday November 18th.
