This past weekend, the WKF European Kids Open took place in France, organized by the TAO CHIE DO club.
For this inaugural event, the competition brought together 75 competitors from 3 different countries, spread across 2 rings.
A total of 35 finals for girls and boys were contested in an excellent sporting and friendly atmosphere.
We also had the honor of welcoming the president of WKF Belgium, Fabrice DEBOIS, accompanied by representatives from several Belgian clubs.
For a first-time event, I think this Open went very well, and I would like to thank all the volunteers, coaches, referees, competitors, and the participating clubs for their involvement and support.
Next year, we will do it again with even more communication and publicity to attract more countries like Italy, Spain, and many others, to continue growing this international event.

Ce week-end avait lieu l’Open Européen Kids en France, organisé par le club TAO CHIE DO.
Pour cette première édition, la compétition a réuni 75 compétiteurs venant de 3 pays différents, répartis sur 2 rings.
Au total, 35 finales filles et garçons ont été disputées dans une excellente ambiance sportive et conviviale.
Nous avons également eu l’honneur d’accueillir le président de la WKF Belgique, accompagné de plusieurs clubs belges.
Pour une première organisation, je trouve que cet Open s’est très bien déroulé et je tiens à remercier tous les bénévoles, coachs, arbitres, compétiteurs ainsi que les clubs présents pour leur participation et leur confiance.
L’année prochaine, nous remettrons cela avec encore plus de communication et de publicité afin de faire venir davantage de pays comme l’Italie, l’Espagne et bien d’autres pour continuer à faire grandir cet événement international.
