The WKF North America Congress and the US Referee Seminar took place in Sacramento and Los Angeles from May 8th to 10th.
Representatives from several states, including Texas, were present to learn about the competition rules and updates for the upcoming World Championship.
As everyone knows, Cartagena, Colombia, will host the WKF World Championship from October 19th to 24th.
As expected, many teams from the participating states want to form a strong and large US national team and successfully represent themselves at the World Championship against the expected 2000 + strongest champions from around the world.
There are still some spots available for tatami and ring sports. But please note: no beginners or internet champions 🙂 If you and your team would like to support the USA National Team with male/female fighters and referees, simply send an email
Our WKF USA President and North America Continental Director, Alexandr VARVARENKO, was, as always, a perfect organizer and host.
WKF World President/CEO Fritz EXENBERGER from Austria was invited to lead the referee seminar.
Ms. Olena GUSLYAKOVA has been confirmed as WKF USA Chief Referee. She will subsequently organize the next referee seminars.
