The “2026 WKF BRICS Belt and Road Professional Combat League – Hainan Ding’an Station”
… was successfully held on February 1st at 8 PM at the Tianyang Park Gymnasium in Ding’an County. This event was guided by the Ding’an County People’s Government; hosted by the WKF World Kickboxing Federation and the Ding’an County Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports Bureau; organized by the WKF World Kickboxing Federation China Region and the Ding’an County Wushu Association; executed by the Hainan Provincial Kickboxing Association and Ding’an Xiongfeng Culture and Sports Events Co., Ltd.; and co-organized by the School of Physical Education of Hainan Normal University, the Hainan Provincial Wushu Association, the Hainan Provincial Sanda and Combat Sports Association, the Ding’an County Boxing Association, Aido Sports Network, Hainan Youmeilai International Media Co., Ltd., and Hainan Qiongwu Yingying Culture Media Co., Ltd. Sixteen kickboxing athletes, including national champions and international-level fighters from the Russian National Kickboxing Team, the Belarusian National Kickboxing Team, the WKF China Kickboxing Team, and local Hainan athletes, took to the stage to present nine high-intensity, high-standard, and high-level world-class kickboxing matches for the audience and fight fans. The entire event was broadcast live by a Russian sports channel, with international reach extending to nine CIS countries and parts of Russian-speaking Europe.
We continue adding countries in Central America, and Honduras is starting to promote WKF events with Sensei Hazahel Antonio Jovel Banegas.
Mr. Banegas is a karate instructor and sensei with more than 25 years of experience practicing and teaching martial arts. He holds a 4th Dan Black Belt and is the founder and director of the New Warriors school, with experience training children and young people in educational institutions.
Honduras has confirmed its participation in the 2026 World Championships in Cartagena de Indias.
Uruguay World Title
The first K1 world title in the 60 kg category will be contested in Uruguay on March 14th between Uruguayan Marilyn Contin and Chilean Jacqueline Ayala.
This title is very important as it is the first women’s title that the WKF will contest in Uruguay, under the leadership of Ignacio Valdez.
Luis Mediomundo is doing a great job globally in Colombia and actively participating in the Caribbean, developing qualifying events throughout the country that will form the basis of the team that will compete in Cartagena.
Colombia is preparing for a celebration of sport, and its team will be very large.
Sensei Félix Benites
Peru adds a promoter
A new member joins our organization: coach and nutrition specialist Sensei Félix Benites, with an impeccable track record in physical preparation, corrective functional training, coaching high-performance athletes, and karate.
Mr. Benites will be part of our team in Peru as a promoter for the La Libertad region. We are also beginning to expand our sport to continue growing and contribute to the growth of our organization in Peru.
Double Crown in Argentina
On March 14th, at the fourth edition of ATFC, the most important professional event in Argentina, held in Buenos Aires, an 8-competitor Grand Prix will take place.
The winner will be crowned Argentine WKF and WKN Champion, a historic achievement for the country.
Brazil National Championship in May
The Brazilian National Championship, scheduled for May 23rd and 24th, 2026 in Aracaju, SE, will be the official qualifier for the World Championship.
Brazil will send a strong team to Colombia in 2026; they are working hard for it.
Professor and Doctor of Science Ivan Vasilievich DERKACHENKO (Minsk, Belarus) will serve as the WKF Supervisor for the tournament in Moldova, and Igor BAIBARA (Shumen, Bulgaria) will serve as the senior tatami referee.
More than 350 athletes from Moldova, Belarus, Ukraine, and Romania will participate in the competition. Fighters will compete in the K-1 and low-kick ring divisions, as well as the kick-light tatami division.

Which team, which country, which city, who is is the real best male and female fighter on the African continent ? This is the greatest event 2026 for all African countries.
From Egypt to South Africa, from Ethiopia to Senegal. All our 37 WKF AFRICA member countries must send their best amateur fighters male and female, to find out who have the real best team, the best male and female Champions !
March 12, 2026 – March 15, 2026 at the “Severny” Modern Pentathlon Center,the Moscow Kickboxing Championship and Tournament will take place.
More than 700 participants from sports schools and clubs from all over the capital are expected to attend.
These competitions are a chance to secure a ticket to the country’s main events – the Russian Kickboxing Championship and Tournament, as well as an opportunity for athletes aged 13-16 to represent Moscow at the 2026 “Russian Student Sports Festival”.
Kickboxing in Russia is rapidly developing: international competitions have resumed, the level of competition is increasing, and the motivation to win is strengthening, which undoubtedly reflects the spectacle of confrontations in all disciplines.
The competitions will be held in six disciplines: “solo compositions”, “pointfighting”, “light contact”, “full contact”, “low kick”, and “K1”.
